Bonding
Dental bonding is a cosmetic process that can make cracked, discolored, chipped or otherwise damaged teeth look whole, clean and new. Composite bonding material is used to safely seal the root of the tooth while it fills in gaps between the teeth. Dental bonding treatments generally take less than an hour and can be completed within a single visit.
If you tooth is discolored, your cosmetic dentist will begin by choosing a bonding material with a shade close to the color of the rest of your teeth. Then, he will bond the material to your teeth, mold it into its proper shape and harden it using high-intensity light. He will then polish your new tooth until it looks like the others, and you will be finished.
