Meet Our Team

Dr. George Williams
Born in North Carolina, Dr. George Williams graduated from Mount Airy High School. It was at the Medical Arts College of Virginia that he earned his dental degree in 1965, while he was also serving as a Lt. Commander in the US Navy Dental Corps.

After moving to South Florida, Dr. Williams remained diligent in the pursuit of continued education, striving to bring the latest advancements in dentistry to his patients. He was one of the first dentists in our area to place a dental implant in the late 1960’s, and he has remained on the cutting edge when it comes to surgical implant placement. In 1985, Dr. Williams received his Fellowship with the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.

The Las Vegas Institute of Dentistry (LVI) has been the education source to dentists world-wide. LVI has also set the standards of patient care for dentists to build their practices, and it was here that, in 2003, Dr. Williams attended advanced cosmetic veneer courses. Dr. Williams remains an active alumni member of LVI today.

In 2004, Dr. Williams took his practice to yet another level by becoming active in the Hornbrook Group. While allowing the use of his office for study group sessions and courses, Dr. Williams himself has taken accredited courses on dental occlusion and dental photography.

Although his love of dentistry shows in his patient care, Dr. Williams is also a very dedicated family man. Over the years, Dr. Williams has had the great pleasure of sharing his practice with two family members; both his brother and daughter are dentists with newly opened practices of their own. Dr. Williams and Peggy Williams are well loved and respected members of the Ft. Lauderdale community. Dr. Williams has four daughters and eight grandchildren. He is an avid fisherman who loves the water and enjoys boating. He is active in a local tennis club and plays as often as he can. Aside from enjoying the wonderful Florida weather, Dr. Williams loves playing in the snow; he takes a break from the heat each year with a family ski trip.

Lori A. Suarez, RDH
Lori Suarez received her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene in 1994 from the University of Maryland-Baltimore Dental School. The Baltimore native found she really enjoyed helping patients with specialized needs during her clerkships, and following graduation worked at Johns Hopkins hospital’s Head and Neck Cancer and HIV centers.

After moving to Florida in 1999, Lori’s dedication to her field led her to pursue continuing education and keeping up to date on the latest advances in diagnosing and treating periodontal disease.

As a licensed periodontal therapist, she has been written about in Continuum Dental Hygiene, which highlighted that only about one percent of the nation’s dental hygienists are considered periodontal therapists.

She has also provided in-office training for hygienists and dentists on the latest probing technologies for Florida Probe Corp. and served as a consultant for introducing and implementing soft-tissue programs into dental offices for practice-management firm.

Lori is a member of the American Dental Hygiene Association, the Florida Dental Hygiene Association, the Maryland Dental Hygiene Association and the Association of Dental Implant Auxiliaries & Practice Management, as well as being licensed by the Florida Board of Dentistry (1999), the District of Columbia Board of Dentistry (1995), the Maryland State Board of Dental Examiners (1994) and the Northeast Regional Board of Dental Examiners (1994).

Currently, in addition to working as a periodontal therapist in private practice, she is also the president and CEO of Perio Solutions, Inc., in Fort Lauderdale.

In her spare time, Lori likes to spend time with her husband and children. She also enjoys yoga and meditation.

Ursula Berroa, Dental Assistant
Ursula Berroa is a licensed dental assistant whose friendly and caring personality makes her adored by many patients and respected by her co-workers. During your visit here, you can look to Ursula to make your visit a comfortable and pleasant experience. Ursula diligently keeps up with her patients’ treatment and follows up on next appointments.

Ursula has been in dentistry since 1994. She graduated from St. Martin’s University Dental School in Lima, Peru with a Bachelor’s Degree in dentistry, and a Doctorate in oral surgery. Since coming to the United States, she has been able to utilize her expansive dental knowledge while working as a dental assistant. She is currently X-ray certified, and she is also certified in expanded duties, assisting for the State of Florida.

During her spare time, Ursula enjoys movies and shopping with friends.

Michelle Ringoot, Business and Financial Coordinator
Michelle has recently celebrated her 15th anniversary in dentistry. As our business and financial coordinator, she will be happy to assist you in any way. She can answer your questions and make your appointments with Dr. Williams and our hygienist, Carolina Logan.

Michelle also takes care of our patient accounts and billing. She has extensive knowledge of most insurance companies. She can assist you in obtaining the maximum benefit from your plan, and she will help with any questions you may have regarding your individual plan. Michelle can also help you make financial arrangements with our office. We offer third party financing with Capital One.

In addition, Michelle is a seasoned dental assistant, who has had the opportunity to work chair-side with some of the top dentists in Broward County, including specialists involved with periodontics, oral surgery, TMJ, cosmetic surgery and endodontics. Her clinical expertise and experience has brought a new aspect to her administrative position because she can be hands-on both clinically and administratively. While coordinating your treatment, please feel free to ask her questions if the doctor or dental assistant is not immediately available.

Michelle has also become valued for computer set-ups and updates. Working directly with our IT services, she has helped in implementing and managing our new website.

On the personal side, Michelle is a native of South Florida. She is active with youth sports leagues and enjoys working with photography as a hobby.
